Event Details

Earn community service by helping others in your community. Volunteer to read to children after school or put your technology skills to use by helping adults in our community learn internet and computer basics! Teens interested in earning community service for this program will be required to volunteer at least two days a month (they can choose to volunteer the first or third week of the month on either Tuesday or Wednesday) at the library. Space is limited, so teens are encouraged to apply before Tuesday, March 6th.

Teens must fill out a volunteer application and turn in a letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, or another professional relationship. Applications and letters of recommendation will be due Tuesday, March 6th by the orientation meeting at 3 pm. Registration is required for the orientation meeting as well.

You will be notified by Friday, March 9th if you've been chosen to participate. Space is limited, but all applications will remain on file for the school year if an opening becomes available.

**Volunteers may be asked to do other tasks around the library as well**
